Please accept my deepest sympathy"); and one to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Scatena, September 3, 1960 ("May this your 35th wedding anniversary be a day to remember and may it lead to many years blessed with life's good things. My sincere congratulations and very best wishes to you"). Also includes a telegram from his assistant Theodore C. Sorensen, November 11, 1959, in part: "Will arrive in Oklahoma City Friday morning one day in advance of activities in order to become closer acquainted with situation in Oklahoma. Hope to see you at Hotel Skirvin where I will be staying." In overall fine condition.
