Early Dutch chapbook entitled "De Vrouwe-Peerle ofte Dryvoudige Historie van Helena de Verduldige, Griseldis de Sagtmoedige, Florentina de Getrouwe" published in Antwerp in 1621. Softcover with wrappers made from Latin text leaves, 6 x 7.5, 47 pages. The three stories, all based on popular medieval romances, are attractively illustrated with woodcut prints. In good to very good condition, with the wrappers heavily soiled and detached but present, wear to spine, several dog-eared pages, and some dampstaining to textblock.
