Disbound original first issue of the Boston Chronicle from December 21, 1767 (Vol. I, No. I), 8.25 x 10.75, 14 pages, with pieces including John Dickinson's "Letters From a Farmer in Pennsylvania to the Inhabitants of the British Colonies," "Lord Baltimores remarks on the City of Constantinople," and "The celebrated Lady Mary Wortley Montague's Remarks on Monsieur de la Rochefoucault's Maxim 'That marriage is sometimes convenient, but never delightful,'" among other pieces. In good to very good condition, with scattered light staining and edge chipping, and tears to the left edge of the first page. Published in Boston from late 1767 to 1770, the Chronicle was a Loyalist newspaper founded by Scotsmen John Mein and John Fleeming.
