A general land office document granting Harvey Filley and his heirs 640 acres of land in Jefferson County. Signed at the conclusion by Lamar as president of Texas, and countersigned by Thomas William Ward as commissioner of the General Land Office. Lower portion bears two embossed Republic of Texas seals. In fine, folded condition.
