Limited edition acrylic display containing an original 4 x 4 piece of multilayered Kapton foil from a Grumman Lunar Module thermal blanket, numbered 10/25, measuring 7 x 5 x 1, featuring images of the Lunar Module and the Grumman LM logo, with descriptive text on the reverse, in part: "The Kapton Foil was damaged and discarded during a ‘fit check.’ Certified by: Angelo Taiani—Retired NASA Employee." In very fine condition. Taiani was a general space engineer who spent 34 years as a NASA employee, contributing toward the Juno project and Space Shuttle program.
