Ink signature as president, "My kind regards to you and your charges! Herbert Hoover,” penned at the bottom of a 7.25 x 8.75 typed letter from Ella G. Baxter, the principal of the Francis Hopkinson School of Philadelphia, requesting an autograph and message for her students; the letter bears an affixed portrait of Hoover. Matted with a transmittal letter from the White House dated February 6, 1932, and framed to an overall size of 20.5 x 15.5. In very good condition, with folds and creases to the Hoover image, and staining to the transmittal letter. Accompanied by the original White House mailing envelope.
