TLS, one page, 6 x 9.25, White House letterhead, October 31, 1941. Letter to Frank Peterson, deputy mayor of Los Angeles, in full: "I agree with you that the task of preserving national unity should be a part of the program we are working out, but I must think over a way to accomplish it." In fine condition, with old tape residue to the top edge, and light toning from prior display. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope.
