ALS in French, one page, 9.5 x 6.25, July 15, 1965. Untranslated letter to Gilbert Darlington, written from his famous hospital in Lambaréné, Gabon. In fine condition, with three vertical folds. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope, addressed in Schweitzer's hand, and a photocopy of Schwitzer's citation making him an honorary member of The Huguenot Society, for which Darlington served as chairman of the honorary awards committee.
