(Walt Disney Studios, 1959) Wonderful original production drawing of Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty, which is signed by master animator Marc Davis. The drawing shows the evil sorceress displaying her awful power, with her raised arms and the design and flow of her cloak indicating a state of transformation. Accomplished in graphite and colored pencil on untrimmed 14 x 11.25 animation paper, which is marked "TRBAL #32" in the lower right corner. Image measures 8.5 x 9. Double-matted and framed to an overall size of 21.25 x 19. In fine condition.
