TLS, one page, 7 x 9.5, personal letterhead, December 27, 1955. Letter to Dean Acheson, his former Secretary of State. In full: "The 'Boss' and I certainly did appreciate those beautiful gladioli which you and Alice sent us for Christmas. We placed them right under Winston Churchill's picture of Marrakech, so that everyone who came in could see them." Nicely double-matted to an overall size of 22 x 14. In fine condition.
