Unsigned yearbook from Harvard Law School, 1941-1942. Hardcover, 7.25 x 10.25, 216 pages. Joe Kennedy, Jr., is depicted inside as one of the students "who have withdrawn from this School to serve in the armed forces." In fine condition, with light scuffing to the spine and corners. Kennedy withdrew before his final year at Harvard Law School to enlist in the U.S. Naval Reserve. Following flight training to be a naval aviator, he received his wings and was commissioned an ensign on May 5, 1942. In August 1944, he would be killed in action when his plane exploded over England during a top-secret mission.
