Color 5.25 x 6 photo cut from the cover of Time Magazine and applied to a 7.25 x 10.25 card, signed and inscribed in blue ballpoint, "Dear Mr. Faxdahl, June 12, 1948, You have here my 'Terrible Turner' snarl, motivated by smelling dead enemies on Guadalcanal in 1942 (By the way, the 'Terrible' epithet was concocted by TIME in NY), Sincerely, Ricmond Kelly Turner, Admiral, U.S. Navy (Ret.).” In fine condition.
