Description

Collection of 47 stapled packets of “Apollo 10 Commentary,” stacked to approximately 2.25″ in height, documenting events between May 18 and May 22, 1969, which consists of the original dialogue held between Mission Control and astronauts Tom Stafford, John Young, and Gene Cernan during their 'dress rehearsal' mission, which includes daily activities, sleep and eating schedules, updates and news briefings, and extensive real-time directives and crew response for mission objectives, namely the integral docking and undocking maneuvers made in lunar orbit. Also included are five “Change of Shift” and “Postlaunch” briefings from the Apollo News Center. In overall fine condition, with occasional edge foxing.
