Tony Glover's 1/4-inch reel-to-reel audio tape of his four-hour long interview with Bob Shelton, conducted on May 26-28, 1966, for Shelton's important biography No Direction Home: The Life and Music of Bob Dylan. They cover Dylan's career up to that point, including Glover's first time meeting Dylan, going to NYC to see Dylan in 1962, 'going electric' at the the Newport Folk Festival in 1965, and the recording sessions for Highway 61 Revisited in the summer of 1965. Shelton would spend two decades on the book before it was finally published in 1986. According to the index published in the trade edition, Glover is mentioned on eleven pages, and his input clearly helped to inform much of Shelton's writing on Dylan's early life and career. In fine condition.
