Group lot of five 45 RPM albums sourced directly from the Seattle home of Kurt and Courtney Cobain, including: a Tim/Kerr Records compilation 4-disc box set entitled Eight Songs for Greg Sage and The Wipers, which features songs by Nirvana ('Return of the Rat') and Hole ('Over the Edge'); a C/Z Records compilation single entitled Teriyaki Asthma, with Nirvana song 'Mexican Seafood'; a promo for the Hole EP Goo; a Sympathy for the Record Industry single for the Hole song 'Retard Girl'; and an SST Records 7-inch EP entitled In a Car by the Meat Puppets. In overall fine condition. The records are included.
During the early 1990s, the consignor of these albums worked as security for Kurt Cobain and then later as a night watchman at his Seattle home at 171 Lake Washington Boulevard East. These albums were gifted to him during his time of employment.
