Two items: a ballpoint signature, "James D. Watson," on an off-white 5 x 3 card; and a check made payable to Dr. Francis Crick for $10, May 12, 1996, endorsed on the reverse in black felt tip, "Francis Crick, Pay to the order of Salk Institute."
