White on 13.5 x 18 canvas, signed in the lower border in fountain pen by the subject, "Franklin Roosevelt, October 12, 1936." Also signed at the bottom of the portrait in paint by the artist, "Walter L. White, 1933." Nicely matted and framed to an overall size of 22.25 x 26.75. In fine condition, with some minor cracking to paint. An impressive, one-of-a-kind piece of artwork.
