French composer (1865-1935) best known for 'The Sorcerer's Apprentice,' interpreted to delightful effect in Disney's Fantasia. ALS in French, one page, 4.5 x 6.25, postmarked November 8, 1930. Untranslated letter to Harrie W. Johnston of New Bedford, Massachusetts. In fine condition. Accompanied by the original hand-addressed mailing envelope. From the collection of Stephen Adamson.
