Scarce 1984 color 21.5 x 27.75 Apple Computer promotional poster for the launch of the original Apple Macintosh personal computer, the Macintosh 128K, which depicts an X-ray or cutaway image of the computer and mouse, with surrounding text identifying its various parts and components, such as: “Display,” “Power supply,” “Battery,” “Built-in handle,” “Clever venting,” “Built-in speaker,” “Brightness control,” “The Mouse,” “RAM,” “Disk drive,” “Keyboard connector,” “Macintosh’s 32-bit MC68000 microprocessor,” “ROM,” “Built-in clock / calendar chip,” and “Macintosh’s digital board.” Rolled and in fine, never-before-displayed condition, with a few trivial creases. This poster derives from the personal collection of a former employee of Apple Computer, Inc.
