(Walt Disney) Group lot of seven original production drawings of beloved Disney cartoon characters: Mickey Mouse (4), Goofy, Pluto, and Donald Duck. Each is accomplished in graphite and colored pencil on untrimmed sheets of animation paper ranging in size from 12 x 10 to 13 x 10.5, with the Pluto and the largest Mickey drawing individually matted to overall sizes of 14 x 11. Character images range in size from 1.5 x 2.5 to 7.5 x 9. Although the majority of pieces derive from unknown Disney cartoons, the Goofy drawing, marked “67” in the lower right, is from the 1942 cartoon How to Play Baseball, which was first shown to accompany the feature film The Pride of the Yankees.
