'Little Louie' burst onto the scene as the star shortstop of the White Sox in 1956, taking home Rookie of the Year honors after leading the league in stolen bases. Here, the smiling 22-year-old shows off the flashy defensive skills that would earn him nine Gold Gloves over the course of a lengthy career. With a pack-fresh, untouched appearance, this card is held back by slightly improper print registration. Only two have been graded higher by PSA. As the only Hall of Fame rookie card in the whole 1956 set, this is a particularly desirable card.
