Two items: a vintage matte-finish 7.75 x 10 photo of the commanding general, signed and inscribed in the lower border in fountain pen, "To Sergeant First Class Clayton Holtslander, U.S. Army, with appreciation and sincere best wishes, M. B. Ridgway, 7 July 55"; and a brief TLS, signed "M. B. Ridgway," one page, 7.25 x 10.5, Mellon Institute letterhead, November 10, 1959, in full: "I shall gladly autograph your book if you send it to me, at this address." In overall very good to fine condition, with small stains to the right edges.
