Two books: a first edition of The Memoirs of Richard Nixon, clothbound hardcover with slipcase, signed on the colophon in black ink; and a first edition of Real Peace, privately printed in 1983 in an edition of 1,000 copies, hardcover with dust jacket, signed on the first free end page in blue felt tip. In overall very good to fine condition, with creasing to spine of Memoirs, as well as light show-through from a prior owner's notation on the back of the signed page. Nixon self-published one thousand copies of Real Peace in September 1983, sending them to a 'select group of government officials and opinion leaders.' The book was then picked up and published in a trade edition by Little, Brown and Company in 1984.
