Sought-after 8 x 10 cardstock photo of Maris taking a swing in his Yankee pinstripes, signed and inscribed in blue ballpoint, "To Mr. & Mrs. Ken Browne, My Very Best Wishes, Roger Maris.” Reverse bears a typed collector's notation indicating that it was received in 1961, the year of his record-breaking 61 home runs in a single season. In very good to fine condition, with scattered light creasing, and light surface impressions in the top border from typed notation on the back. Accompanied by an unsigned vintage glossy photo of Maris in a slightly different swinging pose.
