Uncommon "ALT Award" certificate and Approach and Landing Test medallion presented to May L. Stover, 11 x 14, with printed caption reading: "The crews of the Approach and Landing Test Program are pleased to present you with this medallion in appreciation of your contribution to the successful ALT flights of the space shuttle orbiter 'Enterprise.'" Lower portion bears preprinted signatures of Fred Haise, Gordon Fullerton, Joe Engle, and Richard Truly. The medallion, 1.5″ in diameter, features an embossed design of the ALT emblem on the front, and raised text on the reverse: "Thank you for your contribution toward making the Approach and Landing Tests of the Space Shuttle Orbiter successful. We would like you to have this memento made, in part, of metal taken from the Enterprise." In very good to fine condition, with light creasing and staining to the certificate.
