French scientists and married couple Frédéric (1900-1958) and Irène Joliot-Curie (1897-1956) were jointly awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1935 for their discovery of artificial radioactivity. Uncommon ink signatures, "F. Joliot" and "I. Joliot Curie," on individual off-white 3.5 x 2.25 cards, both of which are affixed to 8.25 x 11.75 sheets with glossy portraits of the Nobel Prize-winning couple. In overall very fine condition.
