Adidas case and sunglasses with inner prescription frame carried aboard the Space Shuttle Atlantis and worn by Mission Specialist Jerry Ross during the STS-110 mission from April 8-19, 2002. The Adidas A125 sport sunglasses are marked "STS-110" on either arm, and the hardshell case with taped label, "CP-3-SP-Rs-110," is signed and flight-certified on the underside in silver ink, "Flown & worn on STS-110, Jerry L. Ross." In overall fine condition. Accompanied by a photo of Ross holding the sunglasses, as well as a signed certificate of authenticity from Ross: "These sunglasses and case were flown aboard the Space Shuttle Atlantis on STS-110. Colonel Jerry Ross wore the glasses during his record-setting seventh mission…This mission added the S-zero truss element to the International Space Station. Atlantis completed 171 orbits of the Earth in 229 hours and 43 minutes, traveling 4.5 million miles. Colonel Ross was a Mission Specialist on this mission and conducted two spacewalks during the 11-day mission." With the launch of Atlantis, mission specialist Jerry Ross became the first human to have traveled to space seven times.
