British statesman (1863-1945) who served as prime minister from 1916 to 1922, and who was a major player at the Paris Peace Conference of 1919, overseeing the decisions that determined Europe's postwar future. Glossy 5.5 x 7.5 photo of the British politician in near-profile, affixed to a 6 x 9 mount, signed on the mount in fountain pen, "D. Lloyd George." In very good to fine condition, with trimmed edges, light rippling to some of the image emulsion, and some bleeding to the signature due to the porous nature of the mount. From the Collection of Dr. Lawrence E. Miller.
