American stage and film actress (1882-1965) who is best remembered as the comic foil to the Marx Brothers in seven of their films; Groucho Marx called her 'practically the fifth Marx brother.' Vintage ink signature with her original first name, "Very sincerely, Daisy Dumont,” on an off-white 4.75 x 2.5 sheet. In fine condition, with old scrapbook page remnants on the reverse. Dumont's signature is rare in any format.
