Crystal-clear vintage glossy 7.75 x 9.75 portrait of Fortas by Chase of Washington, interestingly signed and inscribed in fountain pen, "For Abe Fortas Colbert—with profound good wishes, Abe Fortas, November, 1974.” Reverse bears a Chase Ltd. credit stamp. In fine condition, with a very thin horizontal scratch just touching the top of his head, and a crease to the lower right corner. From the Collection of Dr. Lawrence E. Miller.
