Official letter issued to the Commissioners of the Treasury, relating to the "Receipt of our Exchequer applicable to the uses and purposes hereafter mentioned unto our Right Trusty and Wellbeloved Councillor Thomas Winnington, Esqr., Paymaster general of our Guards, Guarisons, and Land Forces, or to his assignees, any Sum or Sums of money not exceeding Five hundred Thousand Pounds." Signed nicely in the upper left corner by King George II. In fine condition, with a strip of old tape along the back of the left edge.
