B. Cargill, With the good wishes of Herbert Hoover," with an admission card to Hoover's address; a TLS to Cargill, one page, 7.25 x 10.5, personal letterhead, April 30, 1949, in full: "That was a kindly note. I deeply appreciate the friendliness as evidenced therein"; and a TLS to Cargill, one page, 7.25 x 10.5, personal letterhead, January 1, 1951, in part: "Nothing is so heartening and encouraging as messages of support from old friends. I hope you will use your voice and influence in behalf of the point of view we share." In fine condition, with file holes to the left edges of the letters.
