ALS as first lady, two pages on two adjoining sheets, 5 x 8, White House letterhead, June 9, 1924. Letter to General John A. Lejeune, in full: "Thank you for remembering my request and sending me a copy of your address at Mercersburg last week. I wanted it because you delivered it upon the occasion of the unveiling of the portrait of Dr. Boone and also because I want to read it over with my boys from time to time. I am always happy when Mercersburg gains a friend and I am particularly happy that it has added you to the list. As I told you when we were there, I hope Mrs. Lejeune may go with you when you go again. My cordial greetings to her, please, and kindest regards to you." In fine condition.
