Group lot of nine items signed in ballpoint or felt tip by Clyde Tombaugh: an 11 x 8.5 paperstock photo of the "Discovery of the Planet Pluto"; a philatelic souvenir sheet with printed statement from Lyndon B. Johnson headed, "Pioneer—Deep Space Probes"; a 2.5 x 3 paperstock photo of Tombaugh behind a microscope; a group of four commemorative and first day covers, with two also signed by James Christy and Robert Harrington, co-discoverers of the Pluto satellite Charon, and one also signed by Charles T. Kowal, who discovered the 2060 Chiron; and an ALS, one page, January 11, 1994, in full: "I get hundreds of requests for autographed photos. I cannot cope with it. I am enclosing a printed picture cut out of some old brochures." Tombaugh adds "Discovered 9th planet, Pluto, on 18 Feb. 1930" to each of the covers. In overall fine condition.
