Description

Important Continental Army general (1737-1789) who served continuously from the Lexington Alarm through the British surrender at Yorktown. Revolutionary War-dated manuscript DS, signed “Sam'l H. Parsons, MG,” one page, 7.75 x 4.75, May 28, 1781. A payment receipt for "Twelve yards of linen…four pair of Wool overalls…three pair of shoes…and four Blankets…for the use of my family." Signed boldly at the conclusion by Parsons. In fine condition.
