Partial Space Shuttle Extravehicular Mobility Unit (EMU) suit upper arm assembly, with pair of heavily worn tags sewn outside the cuff, reading: "Item: Upper Arm Assy, Part No. 0103-810172…, Serial No. 511, Size 04XL…, Code ID 74897, Mfg. 11/89" and "Item Arm Assy, Part No. 0103…Code ID 74897." This scrapped upper arm assembly consists of the inner yellow pressure suit bladder and a single layer of internal white fabric. Includes its plastic bag with deaccession label, noting its acquisition cost as $7,000. In very good to fine condition, with "Scrap" written in red felt tip below the manufacturer's tag.
