Description

Three commemorative covers, individually signed by the Apollo 14 crew: one with a cachet honoring the moon landing, postmarked at Cape Canaveral on the landing date of February 5, 1971, signed in black ink, "Edgar Mitchell"; one with a cachet honoring the US Navy Pacific Recovery Force, postmarked on the USS New Orleans on the recovery date of February 9, 1971, signed and inscribed in blue ballpoint, "To Donny—Alan Shepard"; and one with a metal cachet honoring the mission, postmarked at Cape Canaveral on the splashdown date of February 9, 1971, signed in black felt tip, "Stuart O. Roosa." In overall fine condition, with bends to the metallic cachet.
