Sib Hashian's 14″ commemorative cymbal presented by Enrique 'Kiko' Rodriguez, featuring a "Barco de Papel" plaque at the top, and an engraved presentation plaque at the bottom, reading: "Presented to: John 'Sibby' Hashian, For being a lifetime mentor and inspiration. In 1976, when I was a kid, I heard this incredible album by a group named Boston and while playing air drums and air guitar to it I daydreamed and said to myself: 'That's what I want to be when I grow up, I want to be like Boston.' Who would say that many years later that kid's dream would become a reality with Barco de Papel? For that I truly thank you because without you and Boston I would have never become a musician and a songwriter. May we share a studio or a stage some day 'Sibby.' Gracias por la inspiracion amigo! Enrique 'Kiko' Rodriguez, San Juan, Puerto Rico, May 2005." The opposite side of the cymbal is also signed and inscribed in black felt tip, "10/1/05, Thanks Sibby for being an inspiration! Kiko." In fine condition. Provenance: From the Sib Hashian Collection, and accompanied by a letter of authenticity from the Hashian family. Proceeds to benefit The Sib Hashian Scholarship
