Italian actress (1858-1924), often known simply as Duse, regarded as one of the greatest actresses of all time. Partly-printed DS, in Italian, signed “E. Duse,” three pages on two adjoining sheets, 8.75 x 12.75, January 1900. Untranslated contract between the 'Dramatic Italian Company' and stage and film actor Ciro Galvani for the 1900-1901 season. Signed at the conclusion by Duse. In fine condition, with scattered light foxing.
