Jewish boxer and prize fight referee (1907-1984) who was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 1994. Two items: a vintage glossy 8 x 6.25 photo of Goldstein in the ring, signed in blue ballpoint, "Best wishes, Ruby Goldstein"; and an ALS, one page, 8 x 10, April 4, 1969, in full: "Your letter was very heartwarming. Thanks a million." In very good to fine condition, with scattered light creasing, and a trimmed bottom edge, to the photo.
