Two photos of the German naval officer (1881-1966) who earned the nickname ‘Sea Devil’ for his legendary maritime exploits during World War I: a vintage matte-finish 3.5 x 5.5 postcard photo of him holding a pipe, signed in fountain pen, "Graf Luckner"; and a 4 x 6 postcard photo of the count in his uniform, signed in the lower border in blue ballpoint, "Graf Luckner, 58." In very good to fine condition. Accompanied by an unsigned 1925 yearbook.
