Handsomely engraved stock certificate for one share in the American Express Company, issued to Samuel R. Jacobs. Signed at the conclusion by Henry Wells as president, William Fargo as secretary, and Alex Holland as treasurer. Matted and framed to an overall size of 16.25 x 12.25. In very good to fine condition, with light overall wrinkling, and some light staining.
