Wonderful set of three original 11 x 8.5 mimeographed storyboard script pages used during the production of the classic 1977 sci-fi film Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope. The pages feature illustrations for the Miniature Effects Unit scenes and were each achieved by Joe Johnston, who served as one of the film's leading concept artists and effects technicians. Descriptions of the three storyboard pages are as follows: Board #124, Shot #205, Script #167, "Silhouetted against the rim lights of the Death Star horizon, four ferocious 'T.I.E.' ships dive on the rebel fighters. Two of the fighters peel off and drop out of frame. Pan with the remaining two 'T.I.E.' ships"; Board #127, Shot #208P, Script #170, "Close Up Biggs sees the T.I.E. ship behind him and swings around, trying to avoid him"; and Board #132, Shot #213, Script #A174, "T.I.E. followed by Luke." In overall fine condition. Originate from the private collection of Jerry Greenwood, a visual effects technician who worked with the miniature and optical effects unit for Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope.
