Description

German-born composer (1791-1864) best known for such operas as Les Hugenots and Robert le diable. ALS in German, signed “Meyerbeer,” one page, 5.25 x 8, no date. Letter to Mr. Herz, in full (translated): "You haven't informed me as of yet whether the Messr. leaders of the Brother club agree to my new terms or not. If they have not reached a consensus, be so kind as to show the bearer of this the ground-floor apartment, because he has [my] teaching project. (Please don't speak to him about the price yet, though)." In very good to fine condition, with several horizontal folds and a few light stains. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA.
