Two different empty ammunition boxes for flash powder blanks from Stembridge Gun Rentals at Paramount Studios, the main armory for Hollywood founded in 1919. The larger box, labeled as a "1/2 Load" of 25 20-gauge shells, measures 4″ x 4″ x 2.5″, and is marked with a 1970 date code ("1270"). The smaller box, labeled as a "1/4 Load" of 5-in-1 blanks, measures 4.75″ x 2.25″ x 1.75″, and is marked with a 1982 date code ("Jan 82"). Both bear 1950s-era Paramount labels despite their later date codes. The 1970 box could easily have been used at Old Tucson Studios for Bonanza or High Chaparral. In fine condition.
