Collection of four military guidon poles from the collection of Old Tucson Studios founder Robert Shelton, including: one used in John Wayne's 1960 film The Alamo, measuring 93″ long, with a black body and pointy silver-painted tip, featuring three pennants in green, white, and red (the colors of the Mexican flag); and three used in the 1986 television miniseries Dream West, measuring 96″ long, with black bodies and gold-painted round toppers, all featuring single red pennants with golden Mexican crests depicting a bird holding a snake in its beak. In very good to fine condition, with scattered paint loss, and one of the poles from Dream West cracked in half. Robert Shelton's Old Tucson Studios Collection
