Three items: a miniature wooden folk art model of a horse-drawn cart labeled "Dr. Curems Indian Snake Oil," measuring 24″ x 8″ x 5.5″, signed in gold ink on the base by the artist, "Fred Reed, 1976," featuring a scene with a Native American Indian pouring snake oil into a jar, and a mountebank 'doctor' selling oils to plain folk off the back of the carriage; and two original color 14 x 22 Old Tucson Studios posters advertising the live performance of Moonshine and Sassafras, an "old-time tent musical," which features the silhouette of a horse-drawn carriage similar to the wooden model. One poster has been permanently laminated against a heavy 17 x 25 wooden plaque. In very good to fine condition, with repairs to cracks on the wooden model, including at one horse's feet and the Indian's arm. Robert Shelton's Old Tucson Studios Collection
