Unsigned handwritten poem by John Masefield, two pages, each measuring 10 x 6, handsomely matted and framed together to an overall size of 14.5 x 18. Masefield pens the closing stanzas of his poem "On Growing Old," concluding: "Let me have wisdom, Beauty: wisdom & passion, / Bread to the soul, rain when the summers parch. / Give me but these, and though the darkness close / Even the Night will blossom as the rose." In fine condition.
