Description

Scarce vehicle design blueprints for the original Star Wars

Highly displayable set of three detailed production blueprints used for vehicle design planning for the classic 1977 space opera Star Wars: Episode IV—A New Hope, with drawings including: a “T.I.E. Fighter” blueprint, 36 x 23.75, dated September 19, 1975, sheet 2 of 2, drawing No. 502, featuring fantastic rear and side angles of the Imperial fleet workhorse drawn by “Gawley”; a ”Luke’s Landspeeder” blueprint, 36 x 21.5, dated September 12, 1975, with “20 Century Fox Ltd. The Star Wars” stamp to lower right identifying the plan as “Prod. No. E76/1” and “Drg. No. 58,” with blueprint featuring side, rear, and overhead view of Luke’s old X-34 Landspeeder; and a “Y-Wing Fighter” blueprint, 36 x 24, dated September 8, 1975, sheet 1, drawing No. 501, which shows two differing side profiles of the Rebel Alliance starfighter drawn by “Gawley,” with annotations listing “R2 D2 Location,” “Wing Location,” and “Torpedo Tube.” Rolled and in overall very good to fine condition, with light creasing to all three, and scratches and an area of paper loss to 'T.I.E. Fighter.'
