Amazing Street Survivors album signed on the inner gatefold in black or blue ballpoint by all seven members pictured: "Ronnie Van Zant, "Thanks, Steve Gaines," "Allen Collins," "Gary Rossington," "Bill Powell," "Leon Wilkeson, Let there be rock," and "Artimus." In very fine condition. The record and original inserts (tour schedule and 'survival kit' order form) are included. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from REAL. Consignor notes that the album was autographed in Altamonte Springs, Florida, on October 17, 1977, the release day of the band’s fifth album, Street Survivors, and just three days before Lynyrd Skynyrd’s ill-fated flight bound for Baton Rouge, Louisiana; the resulting crash took the lives of Ronnie Van Zant, Steve and Cassie Gaines, assistant road manager Dean Kilpatrick, and pilots Walter McCreary and William Gray. An altogether incredible and highly displayable album signed by the entire band just days before their tragic, career-altering flight—a true rock and roll rarity.
